West Central MN (between MMF and Larson's) | I see the corn harvest basis is finally starting to tighten up some in our area on the posted bids. Still not great but better than it likely will be in gut slot harvest. Your thoughts on harvest Basis over the next month and a half-2 months???
Not going to need much to go to town but maybe a little. That said we've had an end user locally play chicken with the market the past 2 falls and we've been able to capitalize on the best basis or close to the best basis of the year right out of the field or right after. Can't count on that every year either, but looking for your perspective.
We'll empty the cans right away and re-own the board if needed but not sure we'll see that kind of "incentive" this fall. What say you???
