Hi Matt, thanks for the response. I guess I just see 10xs the amount of talk about what our crop looks like... To me that seems like it should be in crop talk... I'm just trying to figure out how the discussions of YIELD turns into discussion of PRICE and where to price our crop?
I try to only use charts to define trading ranges. That's my opinion... Trying to understand the other side.
What is the equation that transfers yield into price? Highs and lows,.. That's market talk. Why don't people discuss "hey now that the latest report is 168 that means we should see a range of 3.60-4.15 so if you need to sell corn in the next few months before the next report do it around 4.15"
To me. That would be market talk. Discussing yields and talking about rain sounds like crop talk. really? So the charts set the price? So we can have a 17 billion bushel crop at 8$ and it don't matter unless the charts say so? My god that is way off base.
