I understand.  If you sell your beans to pay the bills, and you have no storage, "Here", it's kind of a guess most years what the yield will be..30, 60 or anywhere in between?  I am sure there is alot of pricing done earlier in the year, but that overrun will need to be dealt with in someway, and not everybody has a futures/options account.  I bet you'd be surprised how much is sold cash in October.
