Thanks 17821x , I got your email earlier today also. As for the welding, the welding judges at State Fair (Miller Reps) told me welds look good, but I needed to do triple passes in some high stress areas instead of welding one big bead as it would be a lot stronger in thicker steel applications-- the 1/2" plates. It hasn't pulled apart yet so I guess I'll let it be. The plans were easy to follow, took some thinking on my end when it came to the modifications I made- adding bushings was a little challenging but it turned out good. The SMV sign was just for the fair, it'll be in the way when tile is feeding through. The stands are kind of thrown together but they work good. I should've angled them a bit more. This plow has saved us a lot of money already, really glad you are willing to share the plans with us!

While on the topic of modifications-- I also plan to add a disc opener up in front of the plow shank to cut cornstalks, as we have had some problems with them (and weeds....) bunching up and wanting to push the frame up. If I could cut those stalks, they would easily slide around either side of the shank.

Also had problems with cylinders not holding the pressure-- I think it is actually the valve on the tractor. Combination of it being a little worn, and operating at low rpm's. Cylinder stops were a temporary fix, planning to build a set of one piece custom length cylinder stops to keep that plow level all of the time.

At a standstill right now because it's still on display at the fair. I really wanted to see peoples looks as we drove through the parade with that plow on the 1256--- haha I think it would pull it if it was fwa and weighed 50,000 lbs!!
