sounds like a perfect opportunity to develop your drywall patch technique. Hope those holes are oblong or at least square. cut a patch piece exact max size that will slip thru hole on angle,,,should be at least inch bigger than hole on all sides ,,,put a couple drywall screws half way thru with a string or wire attached to head. Stick them inside the wall and use liquid nails or similar all around the hole ,use wire to snake it in and not lose it as well as tie it tight to something on good side of wall,,,Let set up overnight, Cut another patch exact same size as hole,,,take out screws holding wire,screw and glue patch to back patch,,Caulk crack, float out drywall mud,,,three coats without sanding. sand lightly to take out marks and feather,,,set to paint. Patch is stronger than rest of wall,,,great for where door knobs and walls meet | |
