southeastern Indiana | The novel "1984" by George Orwell was required reading when I was a junior in English class. It seemed far fetched at the time. I think that 80-90% of it has come true. I think that we had a teacher that was ahead of her time, too. I am planning to re read it this winter and really pay attention this time. I was a "slacker" before they coined that phrase. They called us "juvenile delinquents". ( but I guess I learned how to spell) Thank you Mrs. Crane. | |
