Near-north Ontario, French River | Why should agriculture as an industry be treated any different then others when it comes to emmisions? Sure it seems like a royal PITA when new emiisions laws come into effect that affect us but we have to be realistic. No one is saying we cant run the equipement that we already have, only that when we go to replace that equipement it must meet a new standard. A standard that whether we like to admit it, will benefit out children and our childrens children much more then it will benefit our immediate future. Perhaps the Farm Bureau, and other organizations, recognized that fact when the changes were be discussed, and actaully approved of the process? |
