I sprayed Warrant post at 1.5qt acre with gly, cadet and clethodium. I would say it was applied fairly late according to the label and I didn't see any the damage you describe. Seems to have worked fairly well too... Growth has been slow around here but we had a ton of rain. I do think the Resist I used pre emerge stunted them some, it turned cold and wet after planting.
