Not zeroed out. Looks bad, yes, but there is wheat there. A stripper head would be a good option. Probably even pay to hire it harvested that way if you don't have one.
What is your rainfall? Here, I'd spray it and plant corn into it next year but I know you might be a little far north to do that?
I have a real nice field of corn this year planted into wheat stubble that was mowed down to 6-8" with hail last summer. It was appraised at a bushel. No heads standing and severe shatter.
