| Pressure should run about 2250 psi. 3000 psi gauge should be fine.
I'm not sure the pumps pre and side console are the same. Might have increased in volume, but probably the later pump won't fit the plumbing of the early hydraulics since a lot changed between those versions.
There was a higher volume pump used for the tractors with the hydraulic front wheel assist, but there weren't many made.
If the baler cylinder doesn't need all the pressure you can speed up its motion by going to a smaller diameter and maybe stroke cylinder without changing the pump.
