Winchester, Ohio
LOL, second picture made a statement! Glad to see others growing a few old O.P. corns still. This year we have a patch of Blue Clarage (aka Ohio Blue) that is doing very well. It averages 10' or a little better and averages 2 ears per stalk. It was very common in central and south central Ohio up thru the 1960's and was still being grown in small amounts into the late 1980's, favored by the local cattle farmers. This is being grown for a small seed company in the east. We also have a small patch of Rotten Clarage, a blue and yellow dent that was also quite common at one time among the cattle farmers here in south central Ohio.
