southern MN | Those heavy rolling choppers just are not around here, must not work in our heavy clay rocky ground?
I'd run the stalk chopper, aka a flail chopper. Would make short work of it.
Sure would be hard driving through standing corn tho.
I understand its their corn and all that, just the farmer in me says why can't it be chopped for feed, no one gets any seed out of that so not an issue in my simple mind.
