Appears from pic's its pretty green yet, finger reel yes, set reel out as far as it will extend, slow going yes, they make crop lifter's that bolt on to cutter bar, need to run table flat, there a love hate relationship, personally I don't like them on rolling ground, break more off, cut in the direction that works the best, good luck we have a lot of snit that looks not as bad as yours, it sucks, Scott.
