cottonhauler - 7/20/2015 17:48 I'm not sure what the fascination with model trains is! All little boys (me, at 40 included) are still amazed by them! I don't have a layout, nor does my son. Just the regular oval. We can watch that thing go round and round for hours. I've always wanted to make a real layout with buildings, houses, switches, and such. Time and lack of knowledge (of how to hook all of that up) hinders that though!


One of these days I will get the video I have of my layout that me and my dad built when I was little.  It is on Hi8 so the transfer will take a while.  We had it wired so you could run 3 trains at once on different tracks and run the sidings separately.  Wired with lights and mountains and everything.
