Been running front mounted booms for 5 years now.   Would go back to rears if it was the last option.

You mentioned Big Iron, so Im guessing your close to or in the "flatest" "squarest" land I have ever seen.   As far as spraying goes..........Only advantage of front mount would be nozzle plugging (you can see them).

I wouldn't say our terrain is too bad, but watching your boom while spraying has its advanteges.

I probly wash our sprayer more than a guy with a rear mount.  I cant say a rear mount does a better job, nor vise verse.
