Osakis, MN | Drove from Osakis to Mankato Friday. Nicest corn I have ever layed my eyes on for as far as you could see! Kimball to Mankato not a bad field anywhere. Took middle child to Brainerd for camp today, different story different climate different soil. Some corn is fired up, shriveled up too dry. Some is terribly uneven, some is really starting to show n deficiency. Not near as many acres up that way but there wasn't one field heading north that looked even close to as nice as south of Hutchinson. Not one. Beans had some poorer looking fields compared to the corn In my opinion. | |
