We farm some clay ground and when we used a field cultivator all we did was create slabs. We found with turbo max it made for a good seed bed for both beans and corn. We drilled beans back in first week of May when it was dry and about perfect conditions. Maybe we went to deep or not deep enough to cut up residue.
