Georgia | First time growing corn. Here's the details.
Dekalb 64-69 Planted 4/09. 19,500 population on 36 inch rows. 10gal of 10-32 put down 2x2 with planter. Striptilled. Spread 18-46-60 over the top right after planting (last minute decision to plant some corn). Side dressed 5/15 with 25-S using drop tubes, 90 units. Following peanuts (is like following soybeans nitrogen wise)
Has had 15 inches of rain since planting but right after tassel had 2 weeks of 100+ degree days.
This seems to be an average ear, maybe some better, surely some not as good. Tell me the good, bad, and ugly that you see!
