Central IL | Are you having trouble because you don't have adequate surface drainage? If so that would be the first step. Not knowing anything about your soils it's hard to say how well the tile will work if your subsoil is truly that tight. There are many factors that play into cost to tile it. How far to the outlet? How close will the laterals need to be? Generally speaking if the outlet is nearby $700-$800 per acre. If the outlet has to go very far you are looking at $1000 per acre easily. How close would the nearest contractor be that could do it. That would play into the cost as well. Not much help but that should give you someplace to start thinking about it. Maybe someone will chime in thst is closer and has more experience with your area. | |
