Subject: Cleaning and treating early for saved seed ?

I also believe that gravity table cleaning / separating is the best way to get the pure and better seed.

Not to hi jack OP's post..

I discussed this with seed treating / and cleaning people too. They are claiming that the sooner that the seed is cleaned and treated, that one will have better protection as well, being that the treat would somehow penetrate into the seed.

Can any others on here add or comment on this ?

I have seed I saved from probably my best field at 13% , IF I decide to sow any for this Fall, they are recommending within a month. I usually wait until 2-3 weeks before sowing to have it done, or is the way I have done it in the past.
