newberry fl | I thought I would share a couple of pics of my tall corn. This year has been the perfect year for irrigated corn in my area. We haven't had any hard Fertilizer leaching rain this year until very recently. I guess this is what can happen when the crop can use all the Fertilizer. It makes me wish I hadn't cut back on the Fertilizer, I only fertilized for 150 bu yield. This corn was planted the last day of april which is pretty late in this area. Now I hope it will stay standing until harvest.
