My neighbor finished up last year July 2. I finished July 4 with a 2750 CHU. I wish that would have been the latest ever but it looks like this year will be July 11. If we don't get the heat units, I suppose I can always treat then as a cover crop and plant buckwheat or peas a little later. Wheat would be nice but the ground is too wet for that.
