We finally got the bottom planted July 5, usually we start drying up by the end of June and it started to look like that was going to happen. 2 days later we had 2.75in in about 2 hours and it sent the river over flood stage. It didn't come out of the banks but it was just a reminder the rain isn't over yet and the realization now might be a good time to start looking for a job, even if it isn't a career change at least something to keep me busy until next year.
