Subject: RE: Spraying Atrizine on post emerge Milo

SE Kansas
Bayer rep for our area recommended to use 1 pint Huskie. 1 pint to 1 quart of Atrazine (depending on soil type) and 4 oz. of 24-D or Dicamba. plus 1 pint of MSO. and 20 GAL H2O!!!

Went out with 1 oz of D on a few acres. Sometimes the D will really lay the milo over flat on the ground. Figured what good are we doing killing the weeds and dinging up the milo at the same time so that the weeds can get a jump on the milo again. Seems to be holding so far so good.

Also found that with Huskie, better to spray on the least humid morning as possible because of the Buctril in it will worsen the burn. Saw last season that we had less of the "burn" with using dicamba than D. Don't know if theres any truth behind it or a flook deal. Trying again on some more acres.
