The Far East...of Nebraska. | I've always thought it at least delays stress for that much longer. Maybe you're leaves won't roll until 4 pm instead of 10 am. In the 4 pm example you are that much closer to the nighttime recovery + more dew.
So even though there is no measured precip I ways count it as a good thing. That's my unscientific take. Head to the high plains and that dew could be what keeps the corn alive until the next rain. Where I am I figure it helps preserve yield. |
