![](https://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/get-attachment.asp?attachmentid=733820&imagerotation=118) Frytown, Iowa | I used to have a set up like yours but like you said the rubber hose flopped too much.
My drops are in this order from top to bottom: 2 sticks, tip filter, 89 size disk orfis, then hose barb spray tip with 6 inch hose on the bottom.
Basically I took what you have and cut the hose off so only 6 inches is left. The orfis is just above that and the stick. There was a bunch of splatter on the ground without the hose from the orfis acting like a spray gun. The 6 inch hose seems to soften the splatter as well as provide wear on the hose instead of the stick.
When I want to spray drops I just break the sticks in two and don't have to mess with the orfises
I'd like to find a slick way to have multiple orfises for different N rates. Right now I have to dig each out and swap with a different sized disk orfis. I have 63 for lower sidedress rates of 10-20 gal/ac and 120 if I need 30-50 gallons. 89 is comfortable to put on 20-30 gallons
Swapping out disk orfises is a real pain
