| 30 GPA at 6 mph. We used to go 40 at 4.5 mph but the pump was pretty much maxed out and seemed like it took forever to cover acres. Haven't noticed any ill effects from going to 30 GPA, still getting very good coverage and canopy penetration, using cone nozzles and swirl plates. Haven't found any early blight here yet, hopefully we can stay ahead of it. Leaf hoppers used to be a problem a few years ago but since we have gone to Actara in furrow instead of Admire they seem to be supressed, usually get 90-100 days control. On the later varieties I might have to add a pesticide in for them next spray if I start to see them. | |
