I have a 2 row Ford 309 and plant an acre of corn with it every year and every spring I get frustrated with it. It works but not that great. Lots of skips and doubles so I end up walking thru and hand thinning the doubles and getting aggravated at the misses. Our plan is to work towards a 2 or 4 row JD 71. We have a neighbor using one for small acreage (about 100) and it does very well! Anyone in southern Ohio help a guy out?
