SE ND | I'll atach a pic of a field that is conventional til, same soil type across the whole thing. We use a tracked tractor to pull cultivator and a floater spread fertilizer before we worked it. It was dry as well. After seeing the pic I don't think you could convince me there is no variation just because the soil type doesn't change and its conventional tillage. And I don't believe an air system can adjust that fast and obviously not row independent.
