The pulley must be moved on the shaft before the key will come loose. Had tough one last summer, drilled / tapped shaft for 1/2" bolt, used heavy washers and steel spacers to apply pressure on pulley, then heated AND pounded before pulley moved. First attempt used gr2 bolt, it stretched. Then used gr5 bolt, that held.
