Lewisburg, PA | I get asked this ALL the time as I know other progressive cover croppers. I finally left a check in my field. I ve planted 100 ,@ of untreated corn non gmo with ANY insecticides. My organic neighbor about fainted!!! He said why wouldn't you use all that if you can!!. Said we are going with out to see how the crops respond. So far it's tricky finding the work horse variety that likes to get its nutrients from soil and not from the chicken or chachillian minded bat **** I saw my neighbor spreading that is able to be but on his organic ground.
Top pic is left side herbicide ,right side just rolled at flowering both have 40# nitrogen on plant on no putting any more on that strip.
Middle is pic of 9675 pioneer untreated non gmo . so far best emerging non gmo I planted outa of 4. This to only as 40# N I'm side dress with optrx a sensors and was calling for only 15 more gallon for 200bhl.
Bottom pic is mat between corn herbicide 1qt gramoxone. 1gt bicep.

Has anyone ever grew organic crops without tillage?
