Subject: RE: Radishes after Corn Silage in WI

Massachusetts
I haven't tried them but seems to me there isn't enough growing degree days to make the radishes fill out enough to help with compaction. I'm in New England and we are trying to figure out the same thing and even if they are interseeded early in the season I don't think we can get the growth we are looking for to make it worth it. I want to make it work but seems like the only people that get the full benefit of the radish are those planting behind a small grain in the summer or are farther south
