Subject: RE: foliar products to promote flowering in soybeans

King City, Mo
I tried a foliar plot on beans one year. Every dang thing I tried was beat by the check. I knocked a crap ton of beans down I the process. I spent most of the morning spraying a trip, cleaning out the spray coupe and then spraying the next strip.

Free product from whoever would send it to me.

Had some talk a big talk and want me to buy some but changed their toon when I said research plot with weigh wagon and measuring he protien on food grade beans. Nobody offered any follow up when their stuff didn perform.

I'd wait till full flower and pull plant samples of the top trifoliate. Next day the tests to Midwest labs.

Then reference your soil tests.

Stew on that for a bit. Read up on the nutrients and what they do to help the plant function.

Zinc deals with tw, cold tolerance and some other stuff I don't remember

Boron is reproductive and some other stuff I don't remember

Lean to figure dry and liquid fertilizer by and and read labels. The western fertilizer handbook is a good place to look at each nutrient and sources of each.
