South Eastern VA | I know in my situation it is the hard clay spots I referred to in a post the other day. These are the spots that seem to grow slower and dry out before the rest of the field. I am also forced to spoon feed my corn fields since we have huge amounts of rain all summer.
Most of my ground is a mix of clay and sand in layers with very little top soil, the ground is referred to as "weathered coastal soisl" | |
