A friend of mine in east central KS is looking for a source of spelt seed. The grain will be used for cattle feed in place of oats. Where could they find seed? It does not need to be organic. I know guys here that entered into a contract last summer to grow it for (IIRC) $14/bu for 2015 crop. Non organic. Organic is even more. Awful expensive way to replace oats isn't it? |
