would need pictures to tell you for sure, but my bet is too much water. The blights cause foliar lesions not an over all droopiness. Verticillium wilt tend to be unilateral, effecting one side of the plant 1st.
They grow Tomatoes commercially on sand for a reason, Ive scouted fields of tomatoes where I was looking around for a lifeguard stand...
