Paul Why not an off-site backup? But, it's not free, I realize. I use Backblaze & feel pretty good about it. I've subscribed on a couple different computers for 2+ years now. At least if something catastrophic happens to a computer (stolen, burns, blows up, whatever), the off-site backup allows you to sleep at night. I get a monthly report from them showing backup activity. Actually, mine backs up every night during computer non-use hours. Works good. Here's their link: https://www.backblaze.com/index-s.html?utm_expid=5089566-23.dqRyAIX1Sg6PUVQUxkGDFQ.2&gclid=CNvf7d2arcYCFQIEaQodhaAJgw&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.backblaze.com%2Fwelcome_visitor_0423.html%3Fgclid%3DCNvf7d2arcYCFQIEaQodhaAJgw I also use Win backup on an external HD. But I fully realize if something bad happens at home, the backup will go out with the main computer. |
