NW Central Ohio | ...the reason I don't care for 3" tile is the amount of inlet area on the tile compared to 4"...and the fact 4" really doesn't cost that much more. Then you have the amount of fluctuation you get in tile depth...and how much it affects each tile size, and 4" will always win (Yeah I know..you could make that argument for 8" tile too, but it's still a concern) A half inch variation in depth of each impacts the flow much more for the 3" than the 4". We have never really run much 3" in NW Ohio....yet I see there are people advocating 2" tile in places. I'm not convinced the time and money to put it in is worth it. | |
