Subject: Soybean nodulation

Greensburg, IN
I have been told corn roots stop growing in mass when tasselling starts. Does anyone know when soybeans stop putting on nodules? Have seen some research that says soybeans cant produce all the nitrogen they need to produce the top yields.
Long story short, trying to figure out when to try some AMS over the top of soybeans to help enhance this potential yield gain from the lack of nitrogen especially with the wet weather and potential lack of root developement.
