West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
IMO pp is the new set aside. It's a pretty good program I think. Was there some fraud early on with the proram, yes, but they have got a pretty good handle on it compared to when the program first came out.

The best thing is the program is voluntary, and mother nature decides who is going to be eligible for set aside for the year. This year it should work out pretty good because most of the set aside is going to be on some pretty high yielding acres.

The people who don't take pp and are eligible, and people like who are lucky enough this year to not be eligible, should be thanking the people who do. Without it, we were looking at $2.00 corn and $5.00 soybeans.

I will apologize for not taking pp on more acres than I did last year, I was very eligible to take more pp than I did. All I did by raising 24 bushel late planted soybeans on 192 acres was add to the already"burdensome" supply, and lose REAL money on them.
