Everyone has different yields to contend with in their territory. If the yields you state are area-wide, then I'm guessing you have a high local basis on corn & beans & cash rents & land costs are probably much less than those 250/60 bu areas you see from afar. It's all relative, or it should be.

I believe in the crop insurance coverages the rates are much higher in hi risk areas.
