Mid Michigan - Saginaw area | wow the envy and hostility is really thick around here.
Personally I don't care who has or doesn't have insurance - their business not mine.
I don't have any insurance and 50% of my corn is toast (or under water)
Two and a half weeks ago it looked like a great crop (sigh)
Bad decision to use the low ground for most of the corn this year
OTOH I don't have a crystal ball - it could have been hot and dry and the corn would have looked fabulous (shrug)
Right now I feel like throwing in the towel - but I'll get over it (and I don't have an insured towel to throw anyway) |
