Mr. or Mrs. or Miss clicker, no one that I know wants to give up on a crop, but sometimes there's a point where the fat lady sings. And in the old days, it didn't cost as much to keep polishing a turd. I don't care for the crop insurance and govt programs that make us look bad in the public eye. However all of that is irrelevant until we abandon a cheap food policy in this country. It is the system we have, and will fault no one for managing their risk and trying to stay profitable in tough times.


I cant se how you would call this a policy for cheap food,we pay you to NOT plant,how is that cheap?
As an old timer it looks like crop insurance just keeps the same people farming,not the best or most motivated,just the same ones.
