Here is a couple of pictures of a field that was planted into soybean stubble on about 5/06/2015. The mound was made by a track filler to fill in tracks made by center pivot wheels.
The corn on the mound has 6 leaves with collars and was 13 inches tall leaf over, while the plants on the level had 5 leaves with collars and are 10 inches tall leaf over.
