Western illinois | My personal opinion has always been that there comes a time when one just simply has to quit writing checks and play the hand they're dealt. Are we in Illinois there yet? Nobody knows. This rain pattern will change someday and the future will look better. The mental stress this kind of year puts a farmer through is enormous. It's in our blood to do anything possible to produce the best crop we can. But, to keep throwing money at a useless situation is foolish. I don't have the answer to your question. It'll become obvious this fall, what should have been done. Until then, you roll the dice and take your chances. As for Clicker and Playsndirt, you guys need to brush up on your bedside manner.
