Your upset about your lower yield than others in your area. What about those of us that your 40 and 150 is a good normal for us. Then we always hear about the 60 bushel plus beans and 250 plus bushel corn. Just what do you think we feel like ALL THE TIME hearing about how good the I states crops are. Sorry just cant feel to bad, put on your Big boy pants and deal with it. When your corn is shoulder tall ours might be waist tall. My point is other areas have it a lot tougher than you I boy.


Easy now big guy. If your corns only yielding 150 compared to some guys in Illinois 250, im going to bet you probably also pay less $$/acre rent and due to less expected yeilds should probably also have lower seed and fert costs invested so far. Just bc your jealous of their yeilds doesn't mean it's impossible for a bad weather year to put them in the red just as fast as you. Costs are different everywhere and not everyone runs with the same break even figures as you.
