When a severe storm travels a couple hundred miles in an area covered with 4 pivots per section they add up quickly. Not every storm is near that bad but I recall a few that have trashed a lot of iron. Memorial Day 2013 got five of mine and had pivot tires up in the air every direction for as far as you could see.
