Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | Probably wouldn't have been a bad idea to do something this winter here... think it was the first time I've seen straightline winds flip them over.
Yes, point them directly into or directly away from the direction of the worst winds. Corners are very venerable if you have them. Our winds are usually in the winter, so filling them isn't an option.
I've seen guys east of here anchor them down in the winter. Probably too redneck, but they just drive or drag old trucks, swather, etc out to the towers and chain it all together. | |
