Treflan kicks butt for $6ish an acre.

Plots and covers makes it too much....did plots last year into grazed off rye and needed to fall chisel as the cows really compacted the ground last spring.

All the fall chiseled ground looks better then the spring worked ground.

The cover crop ground is a grown up zoo of clover/wheat/rye and is really holding the soil and is really helping the soil. Also holding all the moisture in. So I have a little of each extreme where I have covers and deeper tillage.....
