Missouri

The marestail crop is an absentee landowner short term cash rent farm. No one cares about the weeds or erosion and as far as I know the heirs have never even seen the place.

I've been thinking about putting a small hand pump tank and wand on the bike to hit marestail escapes with but haven't got around to rigging something up. The thing even has foot pegs and handles for a passenger. I can't imagine why anyone would want to ride on the back of that thing, but I guess the 70's were a whole different world.

I used intimidator on that field right behind the planter. It seems like a few of the bean leaves that rubber the rye stems as the grew through it in places might have picked up some chemical.  Dad thinks it's just all the moisture we've had.  I'm a little curious about the beans that weren't under rye as they still haven't came up while the beans under the rye have already made it to daylight.
